Mother's Day 2015

I couldn't resist this cute picture of the three girls sleeping.

We went to church and then came home and had dinner made by the dads.

Because we all have a hard time sitting still for very long... we decided to go somewhere but as usual it took us a few hours to decide where to go, we finally decided to go for a drive. We dropped Trevar off at the Boston airport on the way because that's all the time we had. This was the last time that we would see him for two years. We are so glad he came to spend this time with us. Good luck to Trevar in Brazil!

After missing our exit and driving around for a while we drove to Winthrop and enjoyed the beautiful sceanery.

Hanging out with the enders. Missing Julio :(

Happy Mother's Day to the best mom in the world!!! She's always there for me and is the best example of a Christlike person. Thank you for being my mami!

The annual picture with my kids. I woudn't be a mom without them! I love being a mother! Not always easy but I love my children no matter what!

And then the crazy pictures...

This is a movie trailer that Carina made with the cousins at Winthrop:

Courtlex Wedding in Boston (May 8-9, 2015)

We got up the next morning and we had to get things ready for the wedding.

A trip to the grocery store:

Sleeping arrangements for the kids:

After the ceremony outside of the Boston Temple

We were on a roll with the selfies. Why stop now?

And there's the happy couple. Alex and Courtney.

The new Boston Fajardo's.

The handsome groom:

After the temple they had a ring ceremony followed by dinner and dancing.

We were so happy to have Trevar come up and join us for the wedding. He has been at BYU for two semester but he was leaving on his mission soon so we got to hang out one last time. He is so fun to have around!

We stepped outside to get some family pictures. I thought they turned out well for being quick.

Oh boy... like father, like grandfather!

What a beautiful day for these two. They are so cute together. Congratualtions Alex and Courtney!!!

25th Anniversay - Day 9 - Florence to Milan to NYC to Boston (May 7, 2015)

Leaving our hotel :(

Last day! So sad to leave but happy to be going back to see our family. Our train left at 8am so we got up early and got going. We still had a little problem once we got to Milan figuring out how to get back to the airport. But after a little run and stress and then wait we made it.

We actually got to the airport in good time and then we thought we had more time and euros left over so after we went through security we did a little shopping. Then as we start walking to our terminal it was really far away. We kept walking and walking and walking. We were beginning to think we weren't going to make it. But we finally did. Ahhh. Exhausted again! But we did get to sit together this time.

We ate, slept, watched a movie and then we ate, slept, and watched another movie on our way to ...

At the airport we had to go rent our van and then go back and park it so that we could go meet the kids in the city. That was a foreverness process too. By now it was like midnight Italy time so we were beginning to get tired.

One last selfie at the 9-11 memorial before we met up with the kids.

And we were all together again!!! Yay! I was so happy and glad that we were united safe and sound!

We then decided to just have waffles and go back to the airport and get the van cause we still had a four hour drive to Boston. We started driving and after about 1/2 hour Casey was getting tired and I was so tired too. The kids were all crashed. We decided to pull over and sleep in the car for a little bit because that was the safest option. I slept for about 1/2 hour and then I couldn't sleep anymore so I drove for some time while Casey slept some more and then we traded. We got to Derick and Cat's house at about 2:00am and all we did was get to bed. But we made it! We were grateful for protection all along the way.

25th Anniversay - Day 8 - Florence (May 6, 2015)

Today was a chill day. We only had the statue of the David to see and then just walk around and do some shopping.

These musicians were playing music while we waited in line for the gallery to see the David.

The line wasn't too long. But we did have an assigned time. The statues were amazing!

I thought this was an intersting way to do a family tree.

Another cathedral:

Another funny sign.

Kailee texted us and told us that she read about this restaurant in Florence so we tried it and it was really good! It was a cute little place. We had lunch here.

This is the famous Florence market.

This was our room. After walking and shopping we came back for a little bit to rest and then went back out.

We bought some coconut along the way and had a little snack.

Then we went for a walk to this Ponte Vecchio or Old Bridge. It is a stone bridge known for having shops on it. It was beautiful!

Then for our last dinner in Italy we ate here:

I love this guy :)

Ahh and one last gelato! So so so good!!!
