Hiking
KC and I have been going hiking almost every Saturday with our friends. We are trying to get ready for trek and to hike the back of Timpanogos later in the summer. We always seem to go longer than planned. I love going up in the mountains. It is so beautiful and relaxing.

Talent Shows and Last Day of School
CR sang "Unwritten" for his talent show. If I could figure out how to put the video I would do it but that would take too much time.
S sang "Beauty and the Beast" for the talent show.
S had a 6th grade dance.
C went to Cherry Hill with her friends.
K went swimming and hung out with friends. G loved the balloon decorations from the 6th grade dance and luncheon.

Memorial Day
It was a very rainy day. So we had to find something indoors to do. We ended up going to the Railroad Museum in Ogden. It was fun. My parents went with us. Afterwards we went to KFC for lunch and to Sam's club to buy trees that were being clearenced out. Now we have a million trees to plant. Why do we give ourselves more work?? That evening we had a BBQ with the Foutz.
On another note. KC got the grass planted at the end of our lot and it is coming in very nicely. We are so grateful for all that he does outside. Cause needless to say the rest of us are not much help. CR did help KC with the seeding.

Piano Recital
No pictures. It all happened too fast. We thought the recital was at 8:30 and that afternoon she calls me and tells me that it was at 5:30 and she thought she had told me. We have a good teacher she is just gets a little confused at times. It makes it fun for the kids, they always have funny things to tell me after their lessons.
They are all improving a lot. I love it!!

Coverlooks
For Mami's birthday and mother's day we decided to give her a present that she has been wanting for a long time. So we all pitched in to get a makeover and pictures of Mami with her two daughters. We have never done anything like this before so it was fun to bond together. They did an amazing job with the pictures.
When we got done we went to to the mall to eat lunch and take some more pictures at Kiddie Kandids cause we thought we could get some good pictures there a little less expensive. The photographer looked like she was 12 and so the pictures were not the best. Of course we had just come out of a very professional photo session.
We love all of the pictures but this is our favorite of all 3 of us.

Cameo Day
For the second year in a row we went to this event. The girls heard that we had so much fun last time so they went also. We met Mami and Z there. We got manicures done. C ate lots of treats. I won a mouse for a blonde person. Whatever will I do with it? This is a fun tradition. Total girl bonding time!

18th Anniversary
How much do I love my husband... let me count the ways... Just a few will probably do. Otherwise my blog would be full.
18 years!! If I hadn't done it I would not believe it! I believe I have been blessed and I have the best husband ever! He works hard for us, we does all of our landscaping, he cooks, he babysits, he plays, he reads, he is completely devoted to the gospel, he makes me laugh, he is a good father, he knows so much about everything, and whatever he doesn't know he finds out about it and then he knows, he knows computers very well, he makes our bed, he makes us breakfast on Saturdays, he makes yummy shakes and popcorn, and many many more. BUT MOST OF ALL I LOVE HIM AND HE LOVES ME!
We celebrated by going out to eat at this fancy restaurant by the Ogden Airport and then we bought some shoes. We went out on Friday since our actual day was on Sunday.
We better take more pictures together. This is all that I could find.

Stake Conference Challege
We had an awesome Stake Conference. Because we are preparing for trek and it will be centered around Christ they have asked the whole stake to re-read the first four books in the New Testament. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We have to get ready to be good teachers anyways. This is how our Trek Master puts it. "You can't take anything from an emply well" . If we want to be able to teach these youth something we have to be prepared or there will be nothing to share. I've started and will continue to press forward. I had to put this on here because a goal not written down is only a wish. Wish me luck!
