CR at the district History Fair. His topic was The Lightbulb. The thing he liked most about it was that he got to miss school to go to the fair and then just come home. He got a Superior.

King Tut
The Spectrum Play this year was called "Hubbub On the Bookshelf II" CR had the part of the narrator and King Tut. He did such a good job! We always enjoy watching him on stage!
He is being carried in by the Egyptian guards.
He looks like a king!
This is King Tut doing a dance. It was pretty sweet.
I got to make this costume.
G is growing up with a wonderful example and she loves him sooooo much!

District Spelling Bee 2010
I'm a little behind again...
This is while we were waiting for the Bee to begin. You would think he would be studying words or be really nervous or something. No.. he is reading the comics!
CR participated in the District Spelling Bee and he made it to the top 7 this year. A big improvement from last year when he got out on the first round. His goal was to at least make it through 3 rounds and he did much better than that.
The words at the end were extremely hard. Some of the words were: Corgi, Impetous, Supplementary, and Holloplankton. (Disclaimer: Some of these words may not be spelled correctly!)
Next year he is determined to go to Nationals in Washington DC!

February in pictures
Watching a movie. G just loves her big brother CR and he loves her so much that he puts up with almost anything she asks of him.
Twin side pony tails.
Papi's Birthday. We love living close to parents and grandparents so that we can celebrate together. I love my dad so much! He is such a good example of love, perseverance, and hard work.
Face painting at the Safe Kids Fair.
BYU Basketball game. It had been a long time since we have been to one of these. Now that K is there we have a good excuse to go more often. They have an awesome winning record this season. Go Cougars!
