February 17 - Sunday in Rome a day of rest

Last day in Italy. My parents, Ruti, Emil, and Manuel all left early in the morning so it was just the four of us left. We didn't really have plans besides attend church and then just explore the city. So we got up had breakfast and got going.

After church we found this cute market and we wandered around.

We had lunch at some random place that we found as we walked around.

It was a nice relaxing day in Rome just seeing whatever we could see and enjoying our time together!

February 16 - The Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel

Time to move on again! The days go way too fast!

 We had a little bit of a crazy experience once we got back to Rome. We had to return our van, take our luggage to our hotel, and then make our appointment for the Vatican Museums so we could see the Sistine chapel. Well we were running a little late and we missed our bus so that just delayed us. We finally made it to the Vatican but missed our tour but luckily they still let us go in on our own and see it.

I always make friends when I travel :)

February 15 - Pompeii and Amalfi Coast

We tried to get hotels that had breakfast included because it just makes it easier and it helps with the budget. So this is how we started most days before we took off on our adventure for the day.

First stop Pompeii! The parking spots are tight around here!

Pompeii was an ancient Roman city near Naples, Italy. Pompeii was buried under 4 to 6 m of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.

This place is huge!
