October 2019

October is a great month! General Conference and Kailee! General Conference has been going on for a long time but Kailee was born on a Saturday of General Conference and I remember watching conference holding my first baby in my arms, and feeling so much joy for the blessing of being a mother for the first time. Two things that bring me great joy in my life are: the gospel of Jesus Christ and my family! Life is much better with both of those things!

While we went to the wedding and the reception Gracie hung out with her cousins because it was fall break and this was more fun for her. Shayden took them downtown for a little while.

On Saturday night while grandpa went to the BYU game, we went to see the movie "The Fighting Preacher" and we were surprised at the end of the movie to meet the director (T.C. Christiansen and one of the young actress (Scarlett Hazen) from the movie.

Carrie Underwood Concert!

Kailee got us the best seats (or standing area) ever!

I love our tradition of seeing Carrie Underwood concerts together! We have seen 7 concerts together!

We got to go see the premiere of Better with You! Applejuice Productions created it all from start to finish. It's a series that was released online weekly but since we have connections we got to go see the premiere. It was well done!!!

We had an Italian Sunday dinner as a farewell before Cee Ryle leaves for Milan, Italy for three months.

Casey made tartufos for dessert. This is one that has been cut in half. It is a raspberry with vanilla ice cream wrapped in chocolate ice cream and a coating on top. They were delicious!

On Sept 24 we took him to the airport on his way to Milan. First time being away from home for a long period of time! He will be missed but this will be a great experience for him.
