Friday March 26 - Universal Orlando Resort

Florida Vacation Time! We went during Gracie's spring break.

The first day we went to Universal Studios. We were so excited to see The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

Hogwarts!

We had to wear masks everywhere but that was OK because the parks had limited capacity so it wasn't as crowded as usual.

This was a fun ride but it made me really sick to my stomach. You can see the fear in my face because I thought I was going to throw up!

Lunch at the Leaky Cauldron. Cee Ryle joined us for a few days but had to go back early because he had to work.

We had a long day but a fun day!

March 2021

March started out with a visit from Derick, Cat and Ellie. They told us they are planning on moving out to Utah and so they started looking at houses. 

Celebrating one year since Brianna came home from her mission by eating at a Oaxacan Restaurant.

We found out Alex tested positive for covid and Derick also tested positive when he got home. So everyone that was not vaccinated went to get tested. Everyone was negative except for Gracie, she tested positive.  

We created a partition for her so that she was separated from everyone. She was up in her room but it was very lonely for her so this was the best solution we could come up with. She was never sick. She had been a little sick a few weeks before but nothing bad so we never got her tested. We think that was why she tested positive. We gave her another test a week later and she was negative.

She was glad to be able to still attend her Band Concert. She was first chair!

Casey and I took a little trip to Midway for a couple of days. I always get a winter break from work and it's a good time for us to get away and just have a little fun together.

This is the Ice Castles. They are so impressive!

We went at when it was still light out and waited to see the castles when it got dark. Both are amazing to see!

We were planning on going snow shoeing but there wasn't enough snow so we just went shoeing, or on a hike with a little snow.

Sunday was Valentine's Day so we celebrated with the family :)

We all got little Valentine's, like the ones that kids do in elementary school and passed them out to everyone.
