General Conference Weekend

Twice a year, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are privileged to gather in a worldwide conference. I love the renewal I feel by taking a weekend to listen to church leaders and prophets as they share their testimonies of Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

March 2017

Ruth came out to visit for a day and we spent as much time together as possible. I picked her up from the airport and then we met Kailee for lunch at temple square. 

We then went and had a pedicure together! 

We then had a birthday celebration for Ruth cause her birthday had just passed. Here she is with her cake filming the procession!

The following day we were just home and then we went to have lunch and walked around Station Park.

I love Ruth. She is so kind, loving, and fun. I was grateful that she took a day out of her girl's weekend with the other side of the family to spend time with us!

We went and saw Shayden and Jasmine at their school musical "The Wizard of Oz".

I didn't get a picture of Jasmine but I did of Zuri?

The school play for this year was "All I Really Need to Know I Learned In Kindergarten". It was a compilation of lots of short stories. It was so well done by these kids. Here are just a few pictures.

February 2017

For the day date of the Sweetheart Dance they edited some paintings and this was the result of Cee Ryle and his date Lexi. Pretty funny!

Once a year we do a HOPE week at the school. It is for suicide awareness. We put together an assembly.

We also do an Honor Roll Party every quarter and for this one we went to see the Batman Lego Movie.

We made this extravagant Valentine's Box for Gracie to take to her school party. She's obsessed with puppies and it was so cute!

I wasn't working the day of her party so I volunteered to go to her class and do a craft with the kids. They made these cute little love bugs!

Kailee and I went to Zildy's ward and helped with the Days for Girls Relief Society Activity.
