Mother's Day Weekend

We had a wonderful surprise for Sidney this weekend... Derick, Brianna, and Ellie came out to see her!!! It was so nice for Sidney to have her cousins here so soon after she came home.

On Friday night we went out to eat at Pizza Pie Cafe

On Saturday we headed down to Provo since Brianna will be coming out to school here, they wanted to look at some housing. And of course we all have to go cause it's fun to be together!

We ate pupusas :)

Sidney gave her homecoming talk in church on Mother's Day! What a special day for me! And then we got to gather together to talk to Carina.

Welcome Home Hermana B

After 18 months Hermana B is coming home!!!

I can't believe she is really here!!!

We thought HB might be hungry so we took her to Cafe Rio.

We are back to six in our family!!! This makes me so, so, so happy!

The day after she came home we wanted to spend time with HB so we went to the temple together. There is no better place to be!

In the afternoon, it was Cameo day so we went there all together

She did it! Well done HB!

It's a hard adjustment from mission life but we are so happy to have her home! We keep saying that it's still the same Sidney but just improved! She's an amazing person and I am so happy to have her in our family. She worked hard on her mission and the experiences she had will be remembered for the rest of her life. She is an example of righteousness! We love you Sidney!!!

Our 27th Anniversary in Logan

It was my turn to plan our anniversary this year but we couldn't really go too far. So I decided to just make it fun and planned a Chinese date.

This was the invitation that I gave Casey a while before so that he could take the day off of work.

The first thing we did was go get an acupuncture treatment. I have no picture but it was relaxing but I didn't really see results. That's OK it was fun anyway.

Then we drove up to Logan and went on a hike to Wind Caves.

We finally made it to our destination. The Anniversary Inn.

We stayed in the Oriental Gardens Room

We went to dinner at HuHot Mongolian Grill.

In the morning we had a yummy breakfast delivered to our room.

We went to a session at the Logan Temple

We had lunch at Firehouse pizza

We even had dessert! Who can pass this up???

We had a fun time! I can't believe we have been married for 27 years! There are always ups and downs but together we can conquer through anything!

The Advanced Theater students decided to do this show. It was directed by Grant and Rylie. CR had the part of Snape. The whole show was hilarious but CR did an amazing job with his part.

We got to go see Shen Yun that I have been wanting to go to for a long time. It was good but not amazing as I had imagined in my head. But the date with Casey was great!
