A while ago we talked about going to Rome for the temple open house with Derick and Cat. Well as we planned our trip a few others joined the trip like Ruti and Emil and my parents. The day finally came :) Casey and I went to the airport and found out that our flight was delayed and we might not be able to make our connection to Rome in San Francisco! There was too much rain and the San Francisco airport was limiting the number of airplanes that could land/depart. We went through security and then we got thinking that maybe we should go talk to them and see if there were any other options. We found another flight that went through New York. We would fly over night but we would still get to Rome in the morning. So we decided to take this route and we ended up with a day in NYC! Our flight didn't leave till later that night so we took the front runner and went to City Creek for a while in the meantime.
