July 2020

For some reason July came and we were all of the sudden really busy! Complete change from the past three months that we were just trying to stay busy.

Wyoming for the 4th of July

Coronavirus continues! There were no festivals, no public celebrations or parades for the fourth of July so we decided it would be a good time to go to Cheyenne. We never seem to be able to go at that time of the year because someone is usually involved in something that keeps us here, like face painting or parades. We were so excited to get out of Utah for a small getaway. 

One of the days we went to North Crow Reservoir with the Flowers and we played in the water. It is a beautiful area and isolated from others.

The next day we decided to go on a hike at Curt Gowdy State Park. Kellen was our tour guide.

There was a waterfall at the end of the hike. The water was so cold!

At night we did our own fireworks Wyoming style. We did them out in the field and the boys all bought all kids of big fireworks that are not allowed in Utah. 

We had a great time! Then a neighbor came and complained that we were going to long. But it was only 11pm. He came across the field in his truck trying to scare us but we just continued because we were within our right to celebrate independence day!

There was a little bunny in the window well and Gracie was so happy to hold it!

My birthday Celebration

Almost all of Jef's family was here including Elder Brown.

We even had a guest Tuba player! The one and only Jenner!

The next day we celebrated with just our family. The kids gave me an inflatable kayak! 

For my birthday everyone cooperated and took a selfie!

We celebrated by going to the Parade of Homes. 

Annaliese & Blake get sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple 

Annie and Blake got married on May 2 but they could only have a few people there so now that they were getting sealed they had the celebration.

Girl's Night

Earlier in the year we were hoping to go to California on a girls trip to celebrate her birthday, but once again Covid19 changed our plans! So we decided to go to a hotel in Park City and spend the night and celebrate! We went shopping and pampered ourselves :)

Hogwarts Camp

I made this sorter hat for the camp. Kailee did pretty much everything. We just had to help! Such a nice thing to do for these kids that couldn't participate in much this summer!

Their first stop was shopping for their supplies in Diagon Alley.

Then they went shopping for their robes at Madame Malkin's Robes for all Occasions. 

Once they were dressed they were ready to go thorough at Platform 9 3/4!

On Sunday we celebrated Jasmine's birthday with Blossom! We also had the final Harry Potter Feast!

Covid update: Things started opening up a little and that is how we were able to celebrate many fun times together and even travel. We still had to be careful and wear masks all the time.
