We got up early cause there was no time to waste. The teenagers thought we were crazy cause you are supposed to sleep in on vacations (they said). We had breakfast at the hotel.
We were on our way to Lago Atitlan but D needed some Pepto just in case so we stopped in this little pueblito called Santa Maria Cauque. Tiny little cute town.
Cute girls selling stuff. I caught a good picture. These girls could not be older than 8 years old.
We stopped and had brunch at this cute (well recomended by Chepe) restaurant along the way. Oh, it was sooooo good.
We continuted driving through Chimaltenango. What a wild city! These Tuc Tuc's (as D called them) were bumping each other out of the way! We saw some things on the streets here on the way there and at night that were not pretty.
Once in Atitlan, we were trying to find our way to the lake but we found a cementary instead so we went in and walked around for a little bit. It was a very peaceful place.
