Family Hug

After we read and pray every night we do a family hug. This is something that we have done for a long time and we all love it. Well now we have out little Precious G and she is changing our routine. When she was really little she cried everytime. Then she got better and just sat there. Now as soon as prayer is done she runs away and laughs!!

We have tried catching her before she leaves but she hates that!

I guess we will have to just ignore her and maybe she will eventually grow to like it. But the other kids don't understand ignoring when it comes to their little sister.

Just too cute

Just had to record this moment.  G got ready all by herself and she wanted to go outside.  I was just watching and she looked so cute!

But I had to get a picture so I asked called her name and this is her posing for a picture!

She was on her way to feed the goats.  Our backyard neighbors.  They are her friends!

Labor Day in Provo

September 7, 2009
This is S Birthday Cake.  Hello Kitty!  I had to make it early the morning of Labor Day cause we had to take it with us.
First we went to the Utah Museum of Natural History.  It was a free day and we had never been.  CR really wanted to see the frog exhibit.
Then we went to pick up K from the dorms and took her with us to find a place to have a picnic and celebrate S birthday.
KC found some parks near Bridal Veil Falls and we had chicken (as usual), chips, fruit and cake.
Sidney requested the procession and we all lined up and sang Happy Birthday really loud.  She loved it!!
Then we took the famous family picture.  A repeat of 8 years previous.
Then we took a little hike to Bridal Veil Falls.  The daring boys had to climb a little.
The girls playing on the side and just getting our feet wet.
It was a very fun day.  We are glad that K is close enough that she can hang out with us sometimes.

S Birthday

September 5, 2009
Cute S 13th Birthday. We started the day by having cinnamon rolls for breakfast and opening presents because C had to work so we had to get it done while she was still home.  S and I went and did a little shopping during the day, while we waited for C to get home.
Then we went out to dinner at Mimi's Cafe.  S got this huge piece of chocolate cheesecake for being the birthday girl!
We kept asking S what she wanted to do and her answer was always "I don't know" so after dinner we asked her if she at least wanted to go to the mall and walk around.  Here they are playing in the kiddie area at the mall.  They had to go play with G for a while.
What a beautiful and well rounded girl.  We love having S in our family.  Although we wish she talked a little bit more she is so fun to have around!  She loves ballet, gymnastics, playing the flute, cooking and just spending time with her family.  This is why she is waiting until Monday to do her cake and rest of the celebration with K and extended family!
Happy Birthday S!!!!
