Weekend in Dallas

My siblings and I all decided that it would be a good idea to all meet in Dallas where Julio lives. So we bought our tickets and we went. Casey and I took the train to airport but we had an adventure right from the start. We were running to catch the Trax and so we didn't get a chance to tap our cards. So at the next stop Casey decided to get off and tap our cards but while he was off the Trax left without him. Ahhh! We met up at the airport 15 minutes later but it was kind of scary for a minute.

We made it! And we met up with Derick, Cat, and Zildy at the airport.

Everything is bigger in Texas!

That Friday we went to some Japanese Gardens and they were beautiful!

For dinner on Friday night we went to eat at Reata.

The statue was pretty realistic!

After dinner we walked around downtown Ft. Worth. I love my Texan brother!

Awesome mural and awesome sisters!

I could be a cowgirl???

Before going home we went to see Julio's Chiropractic Clinic (BestHealth) and he gave us all adjustments.

On Saturday morning we all went to workout together! We came up with the motto: A family that works out together, stays together!

And we are off to more adventures!

Julio has a nice big Texas Toyota Truck!

TCU where Kalina is at school

TCU's mascot is Horned Frog

Why do a traditional lunch? Let's have Mexican truck food!

We couldn't go home without having ice cream!

Sacrament meeting is always a highlight of any trip

I match the truck!

Fun day driving around with these awesome kids!

Visiting my great aunt Tia Chave (who is almost 100 years old) and her daughter Mari.

Everyone had to leave early and we didn't leave till the late afternoon so after we took them to the airport we went to see The Gaylord Texan Resort

I have friends everywhere I go!

They were having an ICE exhibit so we went in to see it. It was so cool in more ways than one!

Made out of ice!!!

And last but not least we got to visit with Ruth! We found some random restaurant called Taco Casa for lunch and Ruth drove out there to meet us so we could have a chance to talk. I love my sister Ruth!
