This is a short post, because in the middle of the month we took a trip to Portugal with Casey, and I will do separate posts for the trip because I have a lot of pictures. So this is February events around the trip.

Super Bowl Party with work friends. I beat Post in one game so I had to take a picture. We always complete against each other. He had a really good first game so I am ignoring that one :)

 Dinner with Azure and Justyn. They were out here for a weekend getaway. We ate at Royal Hot Pot in SLC. It was delicious!

Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service

This was not out best volunteering place but at least we got to participate. We were filling snack kits for children. There were a lot of people there so it wasn't our most productive service but we have been doing some type of service on this day for many years.

We waited outside to see if we could see Carmen Cusack (played the role of Alice Murphy in the original Bright Star) when she came out and we got to meet her!

And we also got to meet Casey Elliot from Gentri who played the role of Jimmy Ray

So bad luck for me. I was leaving to go to work and two blocks away from home I turned and slid into a stopped car because the roads were icy. No one got hurt and there wasn't much damage but it was still unfortunate. This is my car.

We went to a training in SLC for work and during lunch we went and saw this sphinx of Joseph Smith in this interesting little park.
