Harry Potter/East High/Fat Cats

Some sales person came in to KC's work and offered him premier tickets to Harry Potter for free!  The show started at 9:30am the day before the movie was supposed to come out.  The movie was awesome!! 

But the day couldn't end there...Z was watching G for us and we met with her for lunch at the famous East High!

My kids dream finally came true.  We ate lunch and looked around at East High!  The East High from High School Musical!

They just let us walk around the halls.  The kids were looking for the pink lockers.

And we found them!

And they all had to take pictures by them!

Then we went bowling at Fat Cats.

This is the Place

Since KC, K, and C were going to be gone to Youth Conference for 2 days the rest of us decided to have some fun also!  We met with Z and kids at this is the place park for free activities including horse rides.

It was extremely hot so CR and S got a shower to cool off.

Independence Day

We went to the Kaysville Parade for the first time.

Bukoos gave G an unstuffed cat.

S was in the parade with Jr. High Band.  She loved it when we all cheered for her when she went by!

 

We played in the inflatables for a little while afterwards.

Then we came to our house and had a BBQ.

The kids played in the slip and slides.

Swimming Lessons

I didn't feel like doing the mom & tot class this year but they let the preschoolers just play on the shallow end so that's what G did and she loved it!

Miami B's

Jef's family was in Cheyenne for some of the summer and they took a weekend to come out to see us. We went to the Manti Pageant on Friday night.  It was awesome of course.

First we went to have the traditional turkey dinner at the church.  It was sooo yummy!

Then we went to our seats and waited for the show to start.

Catch Up

I will get caught up with my blog. I will post once a day at least until I catch up. That is of course as long as we don't have company over or are out of town. I just had to say this so that I will do it. I'm a pretty pathetic blogger I know!

Things in the Ft. Worth household have changed a little since we were there but I will remember it as it was when we were there.

Stake Olympics

After getting home at 3am from Manti. We had our Stake Olympics and KC was determined to run the 5K.  So he got up really early so he could participate.  He came in like 7th or something.  Awesome for hardly having any sleep.

Little by little we all decided to participate to help out our ward. 

Even me?  When a body is better than nothing right?

We all had a blast and a little excercise.

In order for CR to earn an award he had to mow the lawn.  He can't quite reach the pedals so daddy had to help him.

Ballet Recital 2009

The theme for the recital this year was Utah.

C was in the "skaters" dance.

S was in the "square dancer" dance.

They were both in the "snakes" dance for jazz.

They both did an awesome job.  They have been working so hard and it shows!

Christmas Carol Tour

We waited in line forever but we were all hanging out so it was fun.
