K's 18th Birthday

She can't be 18 can she?

She is lucky to have her birthday on Conference Weekend!  KC drove down to pick her up so she could spend the weekend with us and we could celebrate!  She can now buy dry ice!! What an accomplishment!

She had a few requests for her Birthday...
1.  She wanted to go see the new FAME movie.  So we did that after the 2nd session of conference.  KC was not able to go with us because he went to the Priesthood Session.  He's such a good husband and father!

2.  She wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese's.  So after the movie, a little shopping, and the Priesthood Session @8:30pm we went to Chuck E. Cheese's ("Where a kid can be a kid" for the last time as K said).

I forgot my camera so this is all you get... the sketches done by Chuck E. Cheese himself!  We all had a blast and we were there until 10:30pm!

3.  Go to Cold Stone to get her free ice cream.  So we went here afterwards because we only had one day!  Needless to say we got home really late and we were really tired.

4.  Go to General Conference at the Conference Center so she could celebrate her birthday with Pres. Monson and all of the General Authorities and 22,000 other people.  I tried to get the Tabernacle Choir to sing Happy Birthday to her but they did not think it was appropriate :(

We left our house at 7:10 cause we had to go drop off G at my sister's house (thank you!!) and we had to be in our seats by 9:00 because of Music and the Spoken Word.

It was so wonderful to be there.  The Sprit was so strong and there's nothing like being in the same room with the Prophet of God and so many other people that believe the same as we do!

Then we went to Mami & Papi's house for the second session and had dinner, presents and cake.

The Awesomest High School Musical Cake Ever!

High School Musical Barbies!  She also got a purple digital camera but it hadn't come in the mail yet so she has to wait a little longer for that present.

After everything we had to drive her back to school and then back home.  We got home at about 9:00pm.  And we were exhausted!
