October 2019

October is a great month! General Conference and Kailee! General Conference has been going on for a long time but Kailee was born on a Saturday of General Conference and I remember watching conference holding my first baby in my arms, and feeling so much joy for the blessing of being a mother for the first time. Two things that bring me great joy in my life are: the gospel of Jesus Christ and my family! Life is much better with both of those things!

Here are a few quotes that touched me from general conference:

The new Young Women theme! So inspired! So perfect for the young women at this time!

Two very special new temples to me. Taylorsville (where my parents and Zildy live) and Guatemala (obvious reasons).

The birthday girl!!! I'm so lucky to be her mother and friend!

The birthday cake

My aunt Gladys and uncle Tono visiting from Virginia

The procession for Kailee's birthday! We now have a tuba, guitar, and a kazoo! Also joining us in this picture is Spencer (Carina's boyfriend)

Haha so true and funny! But the Book of Mormon Videos that I have been a part of have been coming out every Friday. I will be doing a post soon with all of the ones that I or other family members can be seen in.

This cake was so delicious!

Gracie's first band concert playing the tuba. It was a Halloween concert and they needed to wear costumes.

Family birthday celebration. Dinner (David's pizza), presents, and dessert at Last Course.

Kali's wedding at Mt. Timpanogos Temple
Like father like son

While we went to the wedding and the reception Gracie hung out with her cousins because it was fall break and this was more fun for her. Shayden took them downtown for a little while.

We took full advantage of the days we had with the grandparents and fall break :) We also went to Gardner Village

Dinner before the BYU Spectacular

On Saturday night while grandpa went to the BYU game, we went to see the movie "The Fighting Preacher" and we were surprised at the end of the movie to meet the director (T.C. Christiansen and one of the young actress (Scarlett Hazen) from the movie.
