St. George Getaway

There were a few reasons for this getaway. We hadn't gone anywhere alone for a while, I wanted to go through the St. George Temple before it's closed for renovations, I was still on summer break, and Gracie was a girl's camp. So we took off for a couple of days. Here are some of the fun things we did on this quick trip.

Here we are starting our trip.

Lots of nice conversations while driving.

We saw this show on Wednesday night and it was hilarious and very well done.

Thursday morning we went to the temple! It's it beautiful?

After the temple we had lunch and then tried to go on a hike to Kanarra Falls but it was full so they didn't let us go :(

So we kept driving and looking for hikes until we found a short hike that we could go to called Grotto Falls. It was a short hike but we got to a waterfall at the end. So it was fun and we were pretty much the only ones there.

On our way home we stopped and had dinner at Zaxby's. So a short trip but fun!

July 2019

My birthday month! YAY! I don't want to get older but so it's life the years come and go so might as well celebrate! Every year I never know what to do for my birthday but this year I had idea... I wanted to go on a hike to Cecret Lake with my family! Although everyone had things to do they made time to come and go on this hike with me! The hike was longer than expected but it was beautiful nonetheless and I loved it! Best present ever to me is to be with my family!

This is just beautiful!

This is our view while we had a picnic by the lake.
We were exhausted so we were glad to sit for picnic.

After the hike we went to see a concert at Abravanel Hall and then to dinner at Blue Iguana. Kailee and Gracie were the only two that could hang out with us at night, the others were busy. I even got a free meal at Blue Iguana because it was my birthday!

Sunday we celebrated with the family and Jef, Trevar and Malorie. They even made arepas YUM!

On Monday we went on a hike with some ladies from the ward.

For about two weeks whenever we had time at night we went to the Parade of Homes. Gracie liked this room :)

At the last minute, we decided to go to Cheyenne for the weekend. So here we are watching the Frontier Days Parade.

The three of us went to the botanical gardens

Sunday we were lucky to be there for the baby blessing of Kendall Jo. Tucker and Julie's baby.

Driving across WY with Buster

For Pioneer Day (July 24th) we went to visit Zildy at a festival. The kids always find a way to have fun when they are together!

Great advice haha
Sunday Dinner Birthday celebration for Jasmine, Leonora, and I.

Delicious cake made by Casey. Half chocolate, half lemon.

Fourth of July Weekend

The day started out with running a 5K. None of us passed out so we would call that a win :)

Then we watched the parade

And we visited My Kid's Entertainment booth at at the park.
It started raining and it got cool so we were wrapped around this blanket. My mom is not asleep don't worry, she just always closes her eyes in pictures.

Kailee gave us red, white, and blue scrunchies so we had to take a triplet picture :)

Carina and Zuri

Trevar and Malorie

Gracie started doing balloons and for a minute she had a line

We were planning on roasting hot dogs on the fire pit but it started raining and it got cold so our plans changed. IT NEVER RAINS ON JULY 4TH!!! Zildy and Jonas were even able to join us because the festival closed because of the rain.

Then we went to the park to watch the fireworks. The grass was only a little wet.

Cooler than normal for sure!

On Friday we made delicious Kneaders french toast! It was delicious!

On Saturday we went down to Provo to See Jenner and Cassandra and Ivory before they moved to Arizona. Jenner got a job teaching seminary.

Gracie was overjoyed to get to hold Ivory! She didn't want to leave!

Afterward we were going swimming in Lindon but everyone was having lunch so we went to say hi. Funny that we got four brothers together without even planning it.

After swimming we went to have dinner at Cubby's

And then dessert at Froyo

Cee Ryle planned a Murder Mystery (Dazzled to Death) and we all had parts, had to find costumes, and read about our character! More pictures to come, this is all I have for now. I was Rose and Casey was Dr. Bruisyard. We had a great time! Now we want to all do it again! Cee Ryle did an amazing job planning it all for us. He completely cleaned the house, redecorated, and planned the food. Now we know what Casey will look like with gray hair :)
