Disney Dream Farewell

April 29-30, 2012

This morning we had to get up early and get going.  We tried to stall as long as possible by going to breakfast later but they were still trying to get everyone off the ship asap.  We were planning on spending the day with KC's brother's family but when we got up in the morning and we had phone service we received a message saying that they would not be able to come.  We were all bummed because we had all been looking forward to seeing them for a day and that was motivating us to get off.

The lines to get off were long so we just kind of wondered around the ship taking random pictures instead of waiting in line.  Here are a few of the pictures.

Who wants to wait in this line?
Somehow G is always our model.

This link is an overview of the shows on the cruise and it brings back good memories.

So we were off... tired... sad to leave... sad not to see family... Now what???  We were in Florida with nothing to do??? Well we found something.  We first drove to Port Canaveral because we thought there was a visitors center that was free.  It wasn't free and it was like $50 per person so we didn't go in.

We drove down the coast and went to Cocoa Beach.

 The girls tanned.
The younger ones played on the beach.

 We ate and slept.
And we walked on the shore and picked up sea shells.
It was a nice relaxing day at the beach.  We needed that.  We really didn't want to play in the ocean since it was still Sunday.  But I love to just sit and watch the wonders of the beach and the ocean.  No doubt there is a God.

We then drove back to Orlando and went to visit the Orlando Temple grounds.

We then went to our hotel.  For there was this cute diner right next door so that's where we went to eat.  It was a cute burger and shakes place.  We now wish we had one of them at home.

We had to leave our hotel at 4am.  We were tired but we made it home safely at about 10:30am.  And here we are back home.  I have to say thank you to my parents for driving us to the airport and picking us up.
We had an AMAZING Vacation.  We hope to do it again very soon!
