Christmas Programs

Carina had a Christmas Orchestra Concent but I have not pictures so here she is in the snow.

CR had a chimes concert for Spectrum.
CR's choir concert. He had an amazing solo.

Thanksgiving

We had the most of KC's family over for Thanksgiving. It was a little crazy but lots of fun. The kids just played and played and we just cooked, cleaned, and talked. Z and her family was with us also. We are grateful for all our family!!

Carrie Underwood Concert

For K's birthday she got tickets to the Carrie Underwood Concert. Let it be known that she said it was the best present ever! So we both went and had a blast. It was an awesome concert. How we fit this in during Nutcracker I don't know but I guess we just love K so much!

Dinosaur Cake

A friend asked me to make a cake for her son's birthday party. She said he liked dinosaurs so I did a little research and found a few ideas online. This is the final result.

While I was at the grocery store with G looking for stuff for the cake. They gave her a chocolate cookie. Well she was quiet for a while but then I had to come home and clean her up.

After I made the cake. I could not keep her away from it. She thought it was the best thing ever! She kept laughing and trying to touch it!

Halloween

The kids were out of school because of the end of the term. So we decided to go see High School Musical 3 in the afternoon. btw It was very good!!

This set us back a little cause we were not quite ready with all of the costumes. We came home and had 5 minutes before the ward's trunk or treat, so it was a mad dash to get everyone ready. But we made it! At the truck or treat the older girls handed out candy. CR dashed around and got done really fast. KC and I went around with G. She was so cute and once she got the hang of it nothing was going to stop her from getting candy.

After the trunk or treat, the older girls went out with their friends and KC and I took CR and G to some homes. It was a different Halloween but I think that is because the kids are getting older. We are used to doing all of this stuff together as a family.

G was a ladybug.

CR was a ninja.

S was a good fairy and also little red riding hood for a while.

C was an evil fairy.

K only dressed up for the Halloween dance at the school and she was a ghost.

My cute new Nephew

Born on my brother's birthday! Z's family likes to share birthdays with other members of the family.

MY parents were out of town and Z went into labor. She wanted to wait until after Halloween but some things you just can't hold off on. I got to go down and spend a few special hours at the hospital with her and baby "Chacho". I felt special since I was the first extended family member to see this angel here on earth. I am so lucky to have my sister close by.

They have not chosen a name so this is what we will call him. He was 7 lbs 11 oz and 20.5 inches long. My strong sister went natural again (3rd time). She's awesome! She looked really good!

Random Stuff

K's Senior Picture. She is so beautiful. I cannot believe that she will graduate in 2009! She is so amazing at everything she does!!

This is a funny picture because it is so typical of taking pictures. We have to set up the kids. The older girls are ready. We are trying to set up G somewhere where she will stay. And CR and S are in their own little boy world. This time they are reading Calvin and Hobbs but it's always something that we have to bring them back to earth for. Since they are the only two boys, for now, they have to stick together!

From Summer to Winter to Fall?

So one day it's nice and warm.

A few days later we are building a snowman.

And a few days after that we are picking pumpkins.

And all within a weeks time.

K's 17th Birthday

WOW! Is it really possible? She's our baby? How we love having her in our family! Although we sometimes don't see her much since she is busy with high school, college, work, and having fun.

Her birthday was during conference so we didn't get a chance to do much. We went to Salt Lake so we could install a program on my parents computer and then KC, my dad and Jonas went to priesthood together while the girls hung out at Zildy's house and scrapbooked. C made us some yummy brownies. We came home and opened presents. The one she liked the most was the Carrie Underwood tickets. This is her excitement!

Sunday we got together and celebrated her birthday with dinner and and ipod cake. How much better can your birthday be when the prophet speaks to you!?
