Saturday, we drove to Independence to see the Visitors Center. It was nice cause this was the first place the saints went to on their way to find Zion. We got to see a film on the events that took place in the area.
We also saw on the outside the Church of Christ's Temple. It was just so different there. It wasn't the same feeling.
Then we drove up to our hotel in Kearney. We ate dinner at Popeye's along the way.
