Vacation (MO to Chicago) Day 3

Sunday. We went to a sacrament meeting. The person playing the piano was going very slow. Then we went to Liberty Jail. What a moving experience. To think that Joseph Smith and others had to be there for so long in terrible conditions. It really makes you think how the church must be true because if anyone was not telling the truth they deny everything.
Then we drove to Farr West where the Saints dedicated a temple site but were never able to build the temple cause they got kicked out before they could. They have the four cornerstones there.

Then we drove a little further to Adam-Ondi-Ahman. We had bought stuff to make sandwiches so we could have a picnic there. It was no peaceful and beautiful. We walked around a little and you could feel the spirit of the place.

After that we had the long drive to Chicago. About 7 hours. We were hoping to leave a little sooner but we didn't get there until about 12:30am. Wow. That was late and we were tired. We had stopped for dinner at Popeye's and we saw this grocery store that I wanted to stop at called "Price Choppers" but the kids would not let me. I just liked the name!!
