Guatemala - Zaculeu and drive to Atitlan - July 23, 2018

Today was Jasmine's birthday so Zildy got a bunch of balloons and we came in and sang happy birthday to her!

I had to take a picture of these men because Cee Ryle bought a jacket like the one they are wearing.

Parque central in Huehuetenango in the morning! One of my favorite things to do while on vacation is to go walk around the town for a little bit and just see the place waking up. Huehetenango is not very touristy so it was nice to just see what goes on first thing in the morning.

Morning walk with Derick and Cat and Casey of course.

Breakfast included with our hotel stay

Happy 14th birthday Jasmine!

Just have to take pictures of the hotel rooms

Trying to get out of the parking garage is always an adventure! For this one we stopped traffic for like 15 minutes!

This is how the women do their laundry in Guatemala

So we are driving down the road and cows are just coming our way... OK

Jasmine doing her report on Huehuetenango

Not as big as Tikal but it was good to see anyway!

It's so nice to have our own videographer with us!

They were filming a documentary on Zaculeu and this reporter interviewed us on camera.

We found this cute restaurant in Xela on TripAdvisor and the food was delicious!

Back in Quetzaltenango we ate at this restaurant and I had jocon! Yummy! Then Casey and I went on wild goose chase trying to find the mission home. The address we had was wrong. We looked everywhere and got lots of steps while everyone ate but no luck!

Just the random things we see on the road. El Chavo (a favorite childhood show)!
