25th Anniversary - Day 5 - Rome (May 3, 2015)

This room included a cute little breakfast on a cute little table with cute little chairs.

Our first stop on Sunday was church. We figured out the bus route and there we went. We got there early and got to meet some of the many missionaries. There were only about 40-50 people in this ward and half of them were missionaries. It was great to partake of the sacrament so far away from home.

Had to get a selfie on the tiny elevator.

We went back to our room. Changed and we were off again. This time we got a small tender mercy. Before leaving I was trying to find tickets to the colosseum but found out that it happened to be the one free day of the month so we didn't have to pay. It was sunday so we thought that was nice.

Here's just a bunch of pictures of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum:

Vittoriale Palace:

The Pantheon:

By now we were starving. We did eat some dinner but dessert was delicious:

Then more walking around the Piazza Navona:

We got a picture of the people selling everywhere. Too funny. Everyone just ignores them!

This was a cartoon that we had drawn of us. We don't think it looks much like us but it was fun! The sign said that it took 10 minutes but it took like 45 minutes. Casey was even falling asleep while the guy was drawing me.

We got back to our room and decided to get some pictures to remember.

We thought this hanging on the wall of our room was interesting.

Distance walked: 9.7 miles or 9,121 steps
