Spring Break 2017: Paris - April 8

The Seine

Here we go again

First stop, the Louve!

Davinci's Mona Lisa

From the inside looking out. How can the Louve be so HUGE???

There are painting everywhere! Even on the ceilings!

These hallways never end!

Trying to rest after all of the walking inside of the Louve while we wait for CR to be done

We finally decided to ditch CR and go walk through the Touleries Gardens. It a gorgeous day!

Concorde Fountain

CR saw at least most of the Louve and caught up with us.

Crepes from a street vendor

Arc de Triomphe. At the end of the Champs-Elysees. It is at the center of the Place de Gaulle where twelve streets meet. The monument honors those who fought and died for France during the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars. The names of all French victories and generals are inscribed on the inner and outer surfaces. Beneath it it is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from WWI.

Pretty cool stairs walking up to the top

The city of Paris

The city of Paris with the Eiffel Tower

Ahhh there it is!

We went and ate at the Latin Quarters. A really cute area where you can find anything to eat and they have great prices.

A quick view of the Notre Dame on our way home at night.
