Spring Break 2017: To Paris-London - April 3-4

We wanted to take a vacation during spring break before CR's graduation. We found tickets to Paris for an super low price that we couldn't pass up. So here we are on our way.

We flew from here to Dallas. Gracie had her cute BB8 suitcase that attracted attention everywhere we went.

We invited my parents to come with us on this trip. It was a great opportunity for all of us to go together. They were traveling stand-by, but after stressing a little at the airport they got on the same flight.

While waiting for our flight from Dallas to Paris... why not play a game of roll BB8 to each other?

The flight from Dallas to Paris was about 9 hours long we left at 5pm but would get in to Paris at 9am the next day. We had to try and get as much sleep as possible so we could survive the next day. The flight wasn't full so we had lots of seats to choose from to stretch out.

Once we got to Paris we had to try and figure out how to get tickets from the airport to Gare du Nord where we would take a train to London. This was no easy task with our limited French and system that we had never used before.

We made it to London St. Pancras International.

We then had to cross the street to London's King Cross Station to catch the train to our flat.

And what's at Kings Cross??? The one and only Platform 9 3/4 from Harry Potter.

We went to our flat to put our luggage away and then took the the Tube to the city so we could get some food.

There's the London Bridge! Quick take a selfie!

We had dinner and then we just walked around a little bit and then went back to our flat to finally sleep after two days of traveling.

The Shard or as my dad called it "a aguja del diablo". The tallest building in London.

An attempt at a selfie with my parents.

Let's just have someone else take the picture.
