Spring Break 2017: Paris - April 10 and home - April 11

Our last day in Paris and on our trip :( Time goes by too fast when you are having fun! Our first stop today was the Notre Dame and our final destination would be Eiffel Tower with a few stops along the way.

But seriously look at the detail!!!

The inside of  Notre Dame

A replica of Notre Dame

We took all of these group selfies and sent them to the siblings along the way. Wonderful memories!
From Notre Dame we walked over to Sainte Chapelle or Holy Chapel.

The second floor is impressive with all of these stained glass windows!

We had to walk up and down these tiny stair cases to get to the top.

The Pont Neuf (New Bridge) is the oldest standing bridge across the river Seine. Its name, which was given to distinguish it from older bridges. It was built int he early 1600s.

Love locks

We were going to the Musee D'Orsay but found out that it was closed on Mondays when we got there. Sad! So we went to another museum called  Musee de L'Orangerie. It houses paintings from impressionists including Claude Monet and his famous Water Lillies paintings.

Lots of walking on our last day! Everyone just crashed wherever!

We were getting closer...

On our way to Sacre Coeur we stopped and had lunch at this cute little restaurant.

You can get up to Sacre Coeur either by stairs or tram. Gracie and Mami took the tram but the rest of us took the stairs. Ahhh our legs were burning by the time we got to the top!

You can see all of Paris from up here!

Cute shopping areas

We were finally on our way to the Eiffel Tower. It's ginormous!

We finally made it!

To get up to the top you can either take an elevator that has like a two hour wait to get on the elevator or you can walk up the stairs. Guess what we did??? Only 704 steps!

The stairs only take you up to the second level but it's already really high and the view is amazing!

Ahh it's so beautiful when it's lit up!

After a long day we wanted some good food for our last meal in Paris. The place was called Bistrot de la tour. The food was delicious!

From there we took the train home to get ready for our flight in the morning. When we got home we  checked in for our flights and it said we had to plan for more time at the airport so we had to leave pretty early. The following are pictures taken in the morning on our way out.

One last train.

And that was our whirlwind travels through Paris, London, and Brussels! I hope we make it back sometime!
